Cornerstone Church is a non-denominational, multi-site church that exists to be an example of the Church that Jesus described. We are focused on the important stuff; and Christ is at the center of everything we do. In fact, being foundational is one of our core values. |

| Hymn Sing and Ice Cream on May 13
Every month we host a gathering at the 84th St. Campus called “Hymn Sing and Ice Cream” from 6:30-8pm. This enjoyable evening features a talented piano accompanist and song leader guiding us through cherished, timeless hymns.
Mark your calendar for our next gathering on Monday, May 13. We hope you join us and bring a friend or neighbor along!
| | SALT Retired+ May Luncheon
Join us for an inspiring luncheon on Wednesday, May 15 from 12-2pm at the 84th St. Campus.
Come experience a powerful testimony of faith and survival with missionaries Herb and Linda Gregg. In 1998, during their mission in Dagestan in the tumultuous Caucasus region of Russia, Herb was abducted and held hostage for 231 days by Islamic extremists. Herb and Linda's story is not just about survival, but a profound testimony to the limitless power of God and how faith can guide us through the most challenging moments of our lives.
Don't miss this remarkable story of courage, faith, and hope.

| MEGA Kids Camp Donations Needed
The 20th Anniversary of MEGA Kids Camp is coming this summer from June 17-20! We will be throwing quite the party and need your help to pull it off!
We're asking for donations of specific snack time and activity-specific items. You can check out the full list by clicking below. We ask that all donated items be dropped off at the CornerKids Welcome Desk at any of our three campuses by Sunday, June 2.
| | Help Feed Hungry Kids with Hand2Hand
Because 1 in 5 kids in West Michigan doesn't get enough to eat, Hand2Hand of Cornerstone exists to provide weekend food assistance to nearly 400 kids who need it during the school year!
It’s easy to help! This summer we are collecting items that will help stock the shelves so that we can start feeding kids as quickly as possible when school starts again in the fall. We're collecting donations of gallon-sized Ziploc bags, canned chicken (4.5 oz), granola or fruit and grain bars, microwave popcorn, fruit cups (4 oz), snack kits, or breakfast kits.

Students Had Fun at Red Carpet Night & Battle GR
Imagine flashing lights, voices calling out your name, camera lenses shuttering, the red carpet is rolled out, shimmering lights all around… it was Red Carpet Night! All high school students across all our campuses were invited to join us at the 84th St. Campus. There was a great evening of food, sharing memories from our year, and sending off our graduating class of seniors – and some slight excitement – ask the students.
Other students from the Heritage Hill Campus had a night out recently at Battle GR — a venue that offers entertaining experiences such as laser tag, sports courts and ax throwing. |

Amway Junior Jog
Over 700 area Elementary Students participated in the Amway Junior Jog on Wednesday evening at East Kentwood High School. Kids Hope USA is a recipient of the Amway Riverbank Run this year and Cornerstone Church is a relay sponsor of Kids Hope. Each child who participated in the jog received a medal and a goodie bag. Plus, Maranda from WOODTV 8 hosted the event and there was a Family Fun Area with inflatables, games, mascots and Chick-fil-A provided FREE sandwiches!
Cornerstone has 40 mentors in three different schools who meet with a child for one hour, once a week during the school year to provide encouragement and friendship. If you're interested in being a mentor or willing to pray for a mentor and their mentee next school year, please go to cornerstonemi.org/KidsHope and fill out a form to let us know! |
