What is Lug-A-Jug?

It’s a 6k Fun Run/Walk where participants will carry a 1 gallon jug of water 6 kilometers over various terrain / cross country type course.  Why 6k?  Because that’s the average distance a woman or child walks every day to get water in many parts of the world.  There will be stations along the Fun Run/Walk Route, where people can have some fun learning more like getting a drink from the Cornerstone Church pond, or trying to carry a jerry can on one’s head!  This event raises money for Genesis Waters, a global community partner that focuses on getting clean water solutions and the gospel to people that don’t have access to either!

How You Can Help

We’re looking for people to help in all sorts of ways, setting up, directing traffic in the parking lot, staffing a “learning station”, clean up, etc.  We’re asking people to sign up to serve for a shift.
