| | | National Day of Prayer on May 2
To observe the National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 2, the public is welcome to spend some time in worship at our Prayer Path located at our 84th St. Campus (1675 84th St, SE, Caledonia). The self-guided path is under a mile in length and circles through nature in back of our main building. There is plenty of seating at various spots, and much of the path consists of mowed grass. It might not be conducive to strollers, walkers or people with walking and balance concerns.
The National Day of Prayer was established as an annual event in 1952 by a joint resolution of the United States Congress and signed into law by President Harry S. Truman. The observance of the National Day of Prayer is founded on the constitutional rights of freedom of speech and freedom of religion and can be celebrated by all Americans. It is a non-denominational event. What you pray for is very personal. However, if you need inspiration, you are encouraged to pray for family, church, those in influence in our country and more. |

| | Baptism Celebration on May 5
On Sunday, May 5, at the South Wyoming Campus, we’ll have a time of celebration, equipping, and blessing as parents are empowered to be the primary disciple-makers in the life of their child, and others who are baptized are challenged to live out their faith. For those choosing to do a remember your baptism moment, we celebrate this reaffirmation of faith. Don’t forget to invite your family and friends to celebrate with you! No matter which campus you regularly attend, you can be baptized at this time.
Interested in being baptized? Please register by Monday, April 29.

| | | SALT Retired+ May Luncheon
Join us for an inspiring luncheon on Wednesday, May 15 from 12-2pm at the 84th St. Campus.
Come experience a powerful testimony of faith and survival with missionaries Herb and Linda Gregg. In 1998, during their mission in Dagestan in the tumultuous Caucasus region of Russia, Herb was abducted and held hostage for 231 days by Islamic extremists. Herb and Linda's story is not just about survival, but a profound testimony to the limitless power of God and how faith can guide us through the most challenging moments of our lives.
Don't miss this remarkable story of courage, faith, and hope.

| | | Life Group Leaders in The Hub on April 21
One of the best ways to find community at Cornerstone is through Life Groups! They're small groups of people who get together about once a week for a Bible study. You can meet anywhere – someone’s house, a restaurant; the idea is to get comfortable, ask questions, get real, connect with Jesus, and... do life!
On Sunday, April 21, we’ll have a Life Group representative in The Hub at each campus to answer any questions you may have. We hope you come and see us!

| | | Camp Opportunities This Summer
Cornerstone has staff involved in two camp opportunities that your student may be interested in this summer. Christian camps are a great way to connect with God and others in a unique setting.
Christian Athletic Camp is July 14-20 at Duncan Lake Middle School and includes a variety of sports and team competitions. It’s for current 6th-12th graders and space is limited. Get more information or register at christianathleticcamp.com.
LIFE Camp happens on Lake Louise near Boyne Falls from July 21-27, and includes a variety of arts and sports in a wooded setting. It’s for current 8th-12th graders. Get more information and register at lifecampmi.com. | | Thank You for Donating!
Cornerstone Middle School Students participated recently in the 30-Hour Fast at the 84th St. Campus where they fasted and did service projects on and off campus; increasing their awareness about hunger and raising funds for a library in Guatemala. Oh, and they played some games while they were at it! Thanks to your generosity, the students were able to raise over $10,000 to go toward building a library at the CarePoint in Ceiba Blanca, Guatemala.
Cornerstone Church has partnered with Children's HopeChest since November 2019, supporting the community of Ceiba Blanca in Southwest Guatemala. Following decades of civil war, Guatemala faces widespread poverty, significant malnutrition, and is home to many children living in high-risk environments.
Want to learn more about this project? Reach out to TracyB@cornerstonemi.org. | | | Church Facility Needs
We’re looking for someone who might have a gas-generated pressure washer that we can use for a week or two this spring or early summer for work at all three campuses. Also, we’re looking for someone who has a heated pole barn or garage big enough to hold the church van and maintenance truck once or twice a winter to do some maintenance work on the vehicles. If you can help, reach out to BobS@cornerstonemi.org. | | | Job Opportunity: Full-Time Custodian Position Available Are you passionate about serving your community and ensuring the cleanliness of sacred spaces? Join us at Cornerstone Church as a full-time custodian! You’ll be working with a team of professionals in maintaining church facilities, performing routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing. You’ll play a big role in assisting with setup and cleanup for church events and activities. This position will have full benefits. | | | | Whether you’re new or here all the time, take a second and Check In! We appreciate knowing how you are joining us – are you online or in our building? Is this your first time or are you here weekly? It helps us care for those at Cornerstone and is an easy way to ask for prayer, assistance, ask questions, change your contact info, and more. We hope you check-in monthly.
