Hand2Hand of Cornerstone

1 in 5 children in West Michigan doesn’t have enough food, especially over the weekends. That’s why there’s Hand2Hand of Cornerstone – a ministry that gets food to over 200 kids during the school year who need it for each weekend!

Hand2Hand Packing Nights

Packing nights happen every Wednesday starting September 18. Ages 5 and up can participate in any of the open packing options/H.O.P.E. Gatherings. Children must be accompanied by a parent/adult guardian.

September 2019 – January 2020: Cornerstone Church, 84th St. Campus (1675 84th Street SE, Caledonia, MI 49316)
February – May 2020: Cornerstone Church, South Wyoming Campus (2730 56th St. Wyoming, MI 49418)

What We're Doing

Breakfast and Snack Kits

Four items packed into a one-quart plastic zip bag. These kits are part of what goes into a weekly full bag of food (1 snack kit, 1 breakfast kit and a dinner and lunch option). Breakfast and Snack Kits are packed twice a month, on Wednesday evenings, by Cornerstone Student Ministries.

Full Bag Packs

Lunch and dinner items, along with 1 snack kit and 1 breakfast kit get packed into a bag to feed one student, for one weekend. Full Bags are packed every Wednesday night at 6:30pm.

H.O.P.E. Gatherings

Four times during the school year, Cornerstone will host a H.O.P.E. (Hands of People Everywhere) Gathering, open to Cornerstone and the public to pack snack or breakfast kits. These are typically 4 items packed into a zipped plastic bag. These are given to multiple churches, (including Cornerstone) to use for their Full Bag Packs.

H.O.P.E. Gathering Dates: Oct. 17, Jan. 16 and Mar. 19. All Gatherings are on Thursdays, 6:30-7:30pm at the 84th St. Campus.
