Serving in Our World

Cornerstone Church is active in sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and breaking the cycle of poverty in our world.

One way we help the people of Cornerstone know Jesus, is by providing opportunities to make a difference in the world. We have established, long-term relationships in Northern Kenya, Guatemala and through our High School Ministry in Mexico. We believe Jesus will be made known throughout the Nations through our acts of service, love, and by sharing how God is at work in and through each of us, His followers.

CHICAGO (Family Trip): June 27 – July 3

Serve in Greater Chicago through Praying Pelican Missions by helping to encourage a local nonprofit organization or assist a local pastor. This team will bring a breath of fresh air and encouragement to people who pour themselves into their Chicagoland ministries every day.

As we pray with intentionality, our groups' eyes will be opened to how God sees these specific needs and hears the prayers of His people.

Praying Pelican Missions staff will work closely with us to address the potential social justice issues we will likely encounter and help prepare us for how to respond. Approximate cost per person $450 (does not include transportation).
