Adult Classes by Campus
Jan. 22 -Feb. 19
There’s so much competing for our focus in this world, and it’s hard to follow Jesus if you can’t see him. How do we remove all that clouds our vision and drowns out the voice of Jesus so we can make him the center of our families, our money, our goals and dreams—our whole lives? (Greg Wood and Mandy Fowler)
Feb. 26 - Mar. 25
“Follow me,” is all Jesus said to his disciples to get them to begin a journey that would change everything. How do we move from simply believing in Jesus to actively following him in every part of our lives and with our whole bodies— heads, hearts, hands, and feet? It starts with just one step—signing up for this class! (Greg Wood and Mandy Fowler)
Jan 22 - Mar 25
The hope of deep, soul-level harmony is one of the reasons we get married in the first place, isn’t it? It's that good! But oneness doesn't just happen; you as a couple make it happen, and it can deepen over a lifetime. Marriage Oneness is a very engaging, 10-week, video-based series that equips you as a couple to grow in true intimacy and connection. Cost of materials is $40 and you can pick them up at your first class.
Book of Colossians
Jan. 22 - Mar. 11
What we think about Jesus matters. Our perception of him shapes us—what we say, how we treat others, and even what we think. Join Pastor Alex on an exploration of Paul’s letter to the Colossians, a short book of the New Testament that can help us form a complete picture of Jesus. Draw nearer to Jesus through the words of Paul and let yourself be shaped!
Mar. 18 - 25
Using a foundation of biblical truths, this two-session bootcamp is an introduction to basic money-managing principles that will help you get on a path to financial freedom. Learn how to get out debt, save, and protect what you have. (Doug Clubine)
Jan. 22 – Feb 26
Join Pastor Marcus for six weeks of worship and teaching around hearing God’s call for you to step out of the walls of our church to absolutely, ridiculously love our community.
Mar. 4 - 25
Join other parents and get equipped to navigate your kids’ phases, have hard conversations, and parent with the end goal in mind! (Betsy Marvin)
For Kids and Students
Beginning January 22, Wild Wacky Wednesdays are for Young 5s – 5th Graders at the 84th St. and Heritage Hill campuses—whether parents are in a class or not!
What will your kids be doing? Young 5s will enjoy music and singing, and curriculum designed specifically for their age group, including a Bible story. They'll also have Arts and Crafts, and a snack. 1st-5th Graders will be learning the books of the Bible over our 10 weeks together. We will have music and singing, a snack and a fun MEGA-Style activity such as Art, Field Games, and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math).
Kids need to be registered so we're ready for them!
Begins January 8. For 6th - 8th grade only at the 84th St. Campus. This is where the party is! Middle school students will experience games, worship and a message in a large group setting before spending time processing in small groups. We believe that students can go further faster when they have a consistent small group of peers with a committed adult leader. We want to create a safe environment where students can have fun, invite their friends, and build authentic community. Add some pizza, messy game nights, and slushies and you can begin to describe Midpoint.
This class is a basic introduction to our church family, and is designed to clearly explain what we believe. You'll hear the values, history, structure, and future vision of Cornerstone, as well as what it means to be a member. The class ends with an opportunity to officially become a member of Cornerstone Church.
What is Cornerstone Membership?
Being a member means committing to Cornerstone Church and our mission of Helping People Know Jesus and Make Him Known. Members regularly attend worship, belong to a small group, and get involved with time, talent, and treasure. Just as the greatest commandments from God are to love God and love others (Matt 22:36-40), God calls us to commit ourselves to Him, and to one another (Eph 2:19, 2 Cor. 8:5).
By becoming a member, you're saying, “This is my church. This is the community of faith where I will give and be given to, where I’m going to serve and be served, where I’ll love and be loved.”
God has uniquely wired you! This interactive work session will help you discover your gifts, abilities, personality, and passion.
There will be two assessments that you need to complete before coming to the class. One is a Spiritual Gifts Assessment and the other is the DiSC Personality Assessment. You will also receive the links to those assessments in your confirmation email.
