At Cornerstone, baptisms are their own celebrations!

Upcoming Baptism Celebrations

The afternoon will be a time of celebration, equipping, and blessing as parents are empowered to be the primary disciple-makers in the life of their child, and others who are baptized are challenged to live out their faith. Invite your family and friends to come celebrate with you. We'll provide cake and punch to cap off the day!

As one church in three locations, you may participate at any campus regardless of which one you attend. All events are Sunday afternoon, 12:30-1:30pm with the exception of November 8, 2020 which is from 2-3pm.

November 8, 2020 – Heritage Hill Campus
February 2, 2021 – 84th St. Campus
May 7, 2021 – South Wyoming Campus
August 8, 2021 – 84th St. Campus
November 7, 2021 – Heritage Hill Campus

Please register by the Monday before your chosen date and make note of which date and location you select. You will be contacted in the week before the baptism to confirm your attendance.

Additional Information / FAQ

At Cornerstone, we believe in the covenantal baptism of infants and children. We believe parents and the church partner together to help raise a child to know Jesus and baptism is that covenant (promise) to uphold that belief. We also offer believer baptism to those teens and adults who have not been baptized before and have come to the decision to become a follower of Jesus Christ. You can find out more about baptism in the Baptism Brochure.

You’re challenged to live out your faith in your lives.

As one church with three locations, you can participate in baptism at any campus, regardless of which one you attend. All baptisms are held on Sundays, 2-3pm. This one-hour celebration includes a time of worship, teaching, baptism (both sprinkle and immersion) and blessing.

The short answer is yes. Please see the baptism brochure for more on why we baptize and what that means in the United Methodist Church.
